This might be the perfect job for you.  The Service Support Coordinator Position with Community Interlink is a role all about liaising with people. 

You will support our regions older community members to identify and engage services and supports of their choice. When they need help in their homes or have had a change in their situation you will be the person who they call to help them. 

You will network with other providers and your consumers to get them the best value for their funds.  You will be active in finding suitable contractors and service providers for your clients.  

With flexibility to work out of the Seymour, Shepparton or Benalla office you will be able to decide what suits you best.

 

We are looking for

  • A minimum Certificate IV in an appropriate Health and/or Human Services field, or extensive, relevant experience
  • Sound experience of the knowledge and skills required in working with frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to initiate and maintain contacts with a broad range of service providers and community agencies
  • Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy and respect for the customs, values and spiritual beliefs of others at all times

Your Check will be assessed to determine your eligibility to work within a NDIS role.  If you do not receive clearance from the NDIS Worker Screening Unit or you do not agree to participate in the Scheme you cannot be engaged by a NDIS provider.

All appointments are made subject to satisfactory Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children’s Check. Completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration is required prior to commencement.
